Chicken katsu a popular but simple japenese recipe to try at home. Katsu in english means cutlet covered in panko (bread crumbs). It's a crispy piece of deep fried chicken. It typically may be chicken's breast or thigh. The inside is tender due to it's tenderous process. You can enjoy it plainly with mustard or it also goes very well with rice.

  1. Season chicken breast on both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat chicken breast with flour.
  3. Dip it into egg.
  4. Press it into bread crumbs until fully covered.
  5. Heat the oil on medium flame until hot.
  6. Fry the chicken 3-4 minutes each side.
  7. Transfer to paper towel to drain excessive oil.
